INTRODUCTION
ESTABLISHMENT OF THE PERAK STATE PARKS CORPORATION
	The Perak State Parks Corporation was formed in line with the establishment of the 2001 Perak State Parks Corporation (Sec. 6) Enactment.
	The Perak State Parks Corporation is a statutory body of the Perak state government.
	It was established at the state government’s initiative to protect the existing unspoilt natural treasures.
	It began operating as a corporation on 1st January 2004 with an appointed general manager.
