“Royal Belum Photography Challenge 2016” has been held from 5th – 7th of March 2016 in Sg. Kenarong, Royal Belum. This program was fully organized by Perak State Park Corporation and Tourism Perak Management Bhd. in collaboration with Association of Photography and Arts Hulu Perak. The opening and prize-giving ceremony was done by YB Puan Salbiah binti Mohamed, ADUN Temmenggor. In attendance, were Puan Noor Asmah binti Mohd Nawawi, vice manager and vice chairman of PTNPk and Puan Suriani bt Samsuddin, a representative from NCIA.

There were 30 contestants who registered to join this 3 days competition.

Main goals of this activity are to promote Royal Belum following ‘Visit Perak 2017’, to show the public about the existence of the beautiful nature found in Royal Belum, to capture the exciting moment in Royal Belum, helping in adding the number of picture in Perak State Park corporation website gallery and to introduce Royal Belum State Park as one of the Perak tourist attraction.

Muhammad Hamirul Shah bin Abd Razak, a contestant from Grik has been chosen as a winner of this eventful “Royal Belum Photography Challenge 2016” competition and get to bring home a cash prize of RM1000. While for the runner-up, a contestant from Kuala Kangsar, Mohd Rahizan bin Abd Rahim and for the third place, Nooreman bin Noor Faadi from Ipoh get to take home a cash prize of RM700 and RM500 respectively.
